Announcement: Minnesota RollerGirls All-Stars advance to 2011 Championships!

Join us Sunday October 9th at CAMP bar to watch the All-Stars versus either Windy City (favored) or Naptown Rollergirls as they fight for first place in the North Central Region! Game time is 5:20pm, but the 3rd place bout will be airing at 3:20pm, so arrive early if you’d like.
The final bout of the playoffs will be on Sunday, October 9th at 5:20pm in Indianapolis. This bout will be streaming live at www.derbyaccess.com
By placing in the top three at the North Central Regional Playoffs, the Minnesota RollerGirls All-Star team is successfully moving on to the WFTDA 2011 Championships in Denver November 11-13!

New school defeats old in league-wide battle, 116-80

The Minnesota RollerGirls took to the track in a familiar bout on March 31st as the league’s veterans (playing as the “Mayo Clinicians”) attempted to go 2-0 against those newest to roller derby (the “State Fair Foodies”). After falling behind in the first half, the Foodies outscored the veterans 85 to 12 in the second to win the match 116-80.
