Announcement: We just got Surly-er!

We are proud and excited to announce we will be partnering with Minnesota’s own Surly Brewing Company for the coming season! We’re super thrilled to be working with a local company built on parallel ideals.
Surly beers will now be available on tap ($6.75) and in 16oz cans ($6.50) at all our bouts, and will also be available at after party locations!
Join us for the season opener on October 15th to see Surly Owner, Omar Ansari (One of Twin Cities Business’ 2010 entrepreneurs of the year) lead the countdown to the first whistle after opening the ceremonial first can of the season!
We’re all looking forward to the surliest season on skates this town has ever seen!

The Minnesota RollerGirls took to the track in a familiar bout on March 31st as the league’s veterans (playing as the “Mayo Clinicians”) attempted to go 2-0 against those newest to roller derby (the “State Fair Foodies”). After falling behind in the first half, the Foodies outscored the veterans 85 to 12 in the second to win the match 116-80.
