More dirt about yourself: Raised by hippy parents in Edmonton, Canada, the land of checks and blocks. While everyone else in the family spent their free time on ice skates, Hell N. Ready's family and friends knew she was destined for something unusual. At six years old she came home from all-night skates, dropped into bed and sang rock n' roll in her sleep. Everyone knew better than to ask about the bruises on her shoulders and thighs. Soon her world revolved around wheels.

It became impossible to keep her in Canada once she figured out how to jump a train in roller skates. She and a band of like minded roller mama's joined up and began to take on rock in' roll chicks in the States. Sweet talkin' and hard blockin' kept her rollin' south and east until she joined up with a gang of roller skatin' chicks in the Midwest, quickly absorbing the 1970's derby culture and joining up with the notorious Dagger Dolls..
