It’s the last bout before semi-finals, and these rollergirls will be itching for hits. Don’t expect anything gentle from this crew.

The Dagger Dolls will battle it out against the Garda Belts followed by the Atomic Bombshells taking on the Rockits. We’re leaving it all on the track for this one.

AFTER PARTY

BOUT CHARITY
Our season long bout charity is the Ann Bancroft Foundation’s Let Me Play Grant which funds athletic & dance equipment or participation fees for girls ages 5 through high school graduation, giving them the opportunity to be part of a team, build strength and confidence, and push themselves farther—on the field and off. We love the Ann Bancroft Foundation and the amazing work they do to empower girls in athletics!

DOOR CHARITY
All season long, we’re maintaining a relationship with an exceptional organization! Each bout, we will be collecting new or gently used shoes of any kind at the door to support Shoe Away Hunger, which is a segment of Good in the ‘Hood. Good in the ‘Hood is a nonprofit charity that offers essential groceries and hot meals for more than 4000 people each month. Through their Shoe Away Hunger program they host shoe drives in order to collect new and gently used footwear. The very best of these new and gently-used shoes are sold on their shoe bus mobile thrift store for a $5.00 suggested donation. The proceeds are dedicated to purchase groceries to support hungry families in need. Every time they sell a pair of shoes, they’re able to feed 1 more hungry person with up to 7 days worth of essential groceries. They encourage everyone to put their best foot forward by cleaning out their closet for this cause.

Additionally, we’ll be collecting unused plastic spray bottles, unused scrub brushes, scissors, kleenex, and Kong eagle toys for the National Eagle Center. The National Eagle Center is an environmental nonprofit with the mission to “Connect people with eagles in nature, history and cultures.” This world-class facility located in Wabasha, MN is home to rescued bald and golden eagles, working to educate the public about eagles, environmental issues and the natural world.
