In the first matchup of the night, the Dagger Dolls take on the Rockits, followed up by a battle between the Garda Belts and the Atomic Bombshells.

Here’s lookin’ at you, jammer.

BOUT CHARITY
Our season long bout charity is the Ann Bancroft Foundation’s Let Me Play Grant which funds athletic & dance equipment or participation fees for girls ages 5 through high school graduation, giving them the opportunity to be part of a team, build strength and confidence, and push themselves farther—on the field and off. We love the Ann Bancroft Foundation and the amazing work they do to empower girls in athletics!

DOOR CHARITY
All season long, we’re maintaining a relationship with an exceptional organization! Each bout, we will be collecting new or gently used shoes of any kind at the door to support Shoe Away Hunger, which is a segment of Good in the ‘Hood. Good in the ‘Hood is a nonprofit charity that offers essential groceries and hot meals for more than 4000 people each month. Through their Shoe Away Hunger program they host shoe drives in order to collect new and gently used footwear. The very best of these new and gently-used shoes are sold on their shoe bus mobile thrift store for a $5.00 suggested donation. The proceeds are dedicated to purchase groceries to support hungry families in need. Every time they sell a pair of shoes, they’re able to feed 1 more hungry person with up to 7 days worth of essential groceries. They encourage everyone to put their best foot forward by cleaning out their closet for this cause.

Additionally, this evening we will also be supporting Youthlink. YouthLink is a charity in the Twin Cities that works with young people experiencing homelessness. Youthlink is partnering with Hippy Feet Socks as part of their give one, get one model. They sell and create socks and have a partnered with us by donating socks, employing young people, and working on events together.
